This page is a list of people I have to acknowledge for their help and contribution and also those people I can recommend for their services.
I am sure this list will not be complete but I have to say a huge thank you to:-
Roger Arnold who has put up with my little dogs going into the office, muddying up his car and his suits, for listening to me grumbling about the stresses and strains of dog shows, web-site creations and everything else I moan about. Supporting me when I have been struggling and also shared the laughs when it has been going well.
Ann Eldred, my mother who I know would give me the world if she could. Thank you for supporting me, putting up with the dogs invading your bungalow and pooping in the garden, asking constantly to be played with, eating all your dog food and for giving me the inspiration with Pepe your little wire haired minature dachshund who has had to put up with each new addition to the family playing and running about with them.
Pamela Wainwright my ever loving sister who was dragged out to see puppies, helped choose Brokk my first and has had to entertain the puppies when they came into the office, or invaded her home
Ian Janie Niamh and Freya my bother and his family who chose the kennel name for me, have put up with me rattling on about the doggies, the shows, and all my ups and downs.
My friends Jacqueline and her dog Fluffy, Paula and her puggle Annie and all my neighbours and dog walkers who have to put up with barking, lots of licks and much noise.
I have a big thank you to make to Joe Greenwald who allowed me to use his delightful picture of a wire haired dachshund for my logo. He lives in New Brighton, a suburb of St Paul, Minnesota, USA. He has been a professional artist for fifty-three years. He worked six years in commercial art studios as a designer/illustrator, seven years as an art director in advertising agencies and thirty-four years as a freelance designer/illustrator, winning many awards in print advertising and illustration. Since retiring he has been actively pursing his favorite medium; transparent watercolours. He is a member of the Minesota Watercolor Society, Northstar Watercolor Society and Hopkins Center for the Arts.
The links below are people I have used for supplies and can recommend, I hope they can also help you. In no particular order.
The Dachshund Breed Council
I cannot thank Ian and Sue Seath enough for all the advice and information they have given me from their sites. Running the Dachshund Breed Council is a mamouth task which they undertake with vigor and much diplomacy. If there is anything you need to know about the breed this is definately the place to start. There are free downloads for buyers and owners with amazing amounts of information to help with the smallest query to the most major disaster.
Champdogs is a fantastic website giving details of breeders, puppies for sale and lots of helpful advice. We are on their site and you can find us at:-

I now have to thank my doggie friend for letting me have one of her scarves which she tells me she designed the print for inspired by my Derdles as they are dachshunds. These scarves are amazing, they are tubular in shape very light, so soft and extremely versatile, warm in the cold and cool in the heat. They will go round your neck, on your head or on the wrist or ankle and will even go on the dogs too. You must go and look at her web-site www.ruffnek.co.uk
